The type of 632+/-15nm bandpass filter, based on the common application, is usually called Laser Scanner Filter, which is commonly used with 632nm or 635nm laser or semiconductor light sources. It only transmit the small bandwidth of red laser light, such as 632+/-25nm, or 632+/-15nm, but block or reflect all the other spectrums. The blocked rate is not strict for these types of application, because most laser scanner application just mainly required the T>90% @ 650+/-15nm range. This type of filter is not designed for imaging forming system, but usually for laser semiconductor use, such as laser bar code scanner, laser measuring equipment, 632nm or 635nm laser light source device, NIR range finder, fingerprint identification system etc.

639nm Interference Filter, with bandwidth +/-15nm, is another type of filter for choice, it is usually use with laser light source of wavelength from 636nm to 642nm, but perfectly used for 639nm laser beams.
