Short OPL or TTL Wide Angle Board Lenses-lenoptec

Optical Path Length is measured as the distance from the up front point of a lens to the image sensor, equal to the terms of Through-the-lens (TTL) metering in photography. This series of Short OPL board lenses are designed for some mini applications, which require the lens to be mounted in a very small space. This type of lens also require to used with short lens holder to match the short back focal length and TBL.

Refer to the upper right image, OPL or TTL is different from TBL. TBL (Total Barrel Length) is a mechanical length, which is equal to OPL minus FBL (Flange Back Length). So to choose a suitable lens for small space device, OPL or TTL is the most important factor.
